Tara Cochrane’s unique style incorporates elements of abstraction, fantasy, surrealism and comic book art. Her work is inspired in spirit and form by the German Expressionists, the Symbolist movement, ancient Indian and Persian art, and revolutionary artists such as Georgia O’Keefe and Jean-Michelle Basquiat.

Her themes tend towards the magical and mythological. Primarily a painter, Tara also dabbles in a variety of other media such as collage and photography.
